Made of injection-molded polypropylene resin, this black iSeries 6018-8 Waterproof Utility Case with Wheels from SKB is dust and crushproof. Designed to protect your gear while traveling or in storage, the case features a foam interior that can be customized to suit the equipment”s shape. The polymer has a high resistance to corrosion, UV light, and solvents. Additionally, fungus cannot grow on the case. All hinges are molded-in, and the latches have a patented trigger release system that allows for easy access to and closure of the case. The rubber is molded over the handle for a comfortable grip. Once the case is closed, the automatic purge valve equalizes the air inside against atmospheric pressure changes. The lid interior has an O-ring to keep water from getting in. The case has been tested to be submersible and waterproof to depths of 10.5″.
