OutdoorChef Grill Powder – Grill Seasoning and Cleaning

The Grill Powder provides more abrasive cleaning action than the liquid Chef Cleaner — particularly effective for UAE outdoor BBQ grates and surfaces with heavy carbonised food buildup that liquid cleaners struggle to remove. The powder can be applied to wet grates and scrubbed in for deeper cleaning action. The liquid Chef Cleaner is better for routine spray-and-wipe maintenance. For UAE OutdoorChef owners, using the Grill Powder periodically for deep cleaning and the liquid Chef Cleaner for regular maintenance provides the most effective complete UAE outdoor BBQ maintenance routine.

Care should be taken with abrasive grill powders on seasoned cast iron surfaces — harsh abrasive cleaning can remove the seasoning layer built up on UAE cast iron grates and pans. Use the Grill Powder sparingly on cast iron and reseasoning (oiling and heating) after any abrasive clean. Confirm specific cast iron compatibility with Elite Horizon UAE before using the Grill Powder on cast iron accessories. For UAE cast iron grate and pan cleaning, the less abrasive Chef Cleaner liquid or a dedicated cast iron cleaning approach is generally preferred.
