This Aviation Audio Cable from Garmin is an accessory that enables you to use your separately available VIRB X or VIRB XE action camera to narrate cockpit videos, document radio transmissions, and record other headset audio. The Aviation Cable splits the audio signal from a connected headset transmitter and simultaneously feeds it into the aviation headphones and your VIRB action camera. Because the VIRB records audio in stereo, 3D audio from capable radios and audio panels is preserved, as well as any stereo music or auxiliary audio sources. Because the Aviation Cable intercepts audio between your audio out jack and your headset, you won’t lose access to an audio out jack that you, your copilot, or passengers may want to use.
