The way Flowclear 2,600 gal. 9,841 L sand filter is a very effective and way to keep your above-ground pool water clean. This solution is more economical because the pump uses silica sand rather than a traditional filter cartridge. While the cartridges must be changed every 2 weeks, the silica sand lasts up to 3 years. Sand captures dirt and debris while a strainer basket with pre-filter catches larger items, allowing the pump to last longer. The filter is also equipped with a Chem Connect dispenser which guarantees clean and healthy water by providing a stable and homogeneous chlorine level in the pool. This pre-assembled product is compatible with most above ground pools with a capacity of 1,100-66,600 L (300-17,600 gallons), as it comes with an adapter for pool valves with an outside diameter of 3 , 8 cm (1.5 inches). Sand is not supplied with this filter. Sand size required: No 20 silica sand, 0.45-0.85 mm, about 36 kg. The filter also works great with Polysphere filter balls from way.
