Your baby’s first year is full of big moments and even bigger moves. From their first flip (onto their back) to their first stand-up balancing act, once your little gymnast gets going, there’s no stopping them. That’s because they’re getting stronger every day, building the muscles they need to roll, sit, crawl and walk (AKA physical development).
So, when should you expect your baby to make their big moves? While we can’t give you an exact date (wouldn’t that be nice?!) there is a general timeline for when you can expect them to start showing off those physical skills. And there are some great tips and toys you can use to help get them rolling (or crawling or walking).
Just remember, all babies develop at their own pace, and in their own time. As always, check-in with your pediatrician if you have any specific questions about your baby’s development.
