The jacket has technical tailoring around the arms to prevent the arm lift from lifting the bottom hem while reaching high. This is particularly greater when you need to maintain maximum coverage from the elements when on steep or difficult terrain that is exposed. The jacket is also specifically designed to be worn over low-volume, lightweight base layers or mid layers to keep you warm and comfortable during cold conditions.
